CARVING to make prints. I could use this for my design  on my walls.

Carving on candle.... the shape inverted could be coming out of the walls...

INITIAL IDEA

ARCOLA THEATRE

My initial idea was to combine walls and floor  with furniture.... making the part of each other using recycled materials.

Here I was inspired by trees and roots ... trying to make the furniture look as if its growing of the ground... like an actual tree...

SPATIAL ANALYSIS

            

 ANALYSING SPACE THAT  I WALK IN... The different materials we walk on without realizing.
As we have to relate it to our Arcola project I will be analysing trees and roots... so I will end up with a series of photos and sketches of them.

In this project we were asked to re design the Arcola Theatre as its a old place with a boring design...The main focus of the Theatre is sustainability so the materials used in the Theatre are all a patchwork of materials such exposed brickwork,wood and many more. My concept is roots.... part of nature (the theatre is the roots which then links back to the community ).
